David Wright is Managing Director of Emergency Lighting Products Limited and is also Managing Director of Jordan Reflectors Limited based in Basildon, Essex.
David started his career in Research and Development with Thorn Lighting followed by eight years managing the lighting laboratories at BSI (British Standards Institution).
He later joined Existalite / Thomas & Betts as Technical Director and was promoted to Managing Director while also handling the Group roles of European Product Manager and World Standards Manager.
David joined the Jordan Group in 2003 initially as Managing Director of Emergency Lighting Products Limited but took control of both Jordan UK companies in 2009.
David is Chairman of ICEL Council, a member of the LIA Council and a Director of Lumicom.
Paul has been a key member of ELP Ltd since 2007 and brings with him a wealth of experience in the lighting industry.
Previous roles have included Technical Sales, Key Account Management and Business Development Management across 18 years.
Paul’s vast experience of luminarie design, LED lighting, lighting controls, emergency lighting and manufacturing processes is matched only by his drive, energy and good humour.
Paul is responsible for Sales and Marketing within ELP Ltd including selling to OEMs, managing the sales team and business development.
Simon has been with ELP for nearly 20 years – from day one, in fact! He joined the organisation as Production Manager, held the position of Operations Manager for over 10 years and is now Operations Director. Prior to joining ELP, Simon also worked within the lighting industry so has an awful lot of experience.
Simon is responsible for the day-to-day running of all manufacturing, production, conversion, laboratory and purchasing activities.
Having previously worked as an accountant in the motor trade for prestige dealerships Barbara has been with us since 2011. Barbara is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions at ELP. This includes monthly and year end accounts and Human Resources services.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Barbara moved to London and now lives locally.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoys Ballroom and Latin Dancing.
Martin is Technical Manager for both Emergency Lighting Products Ltd and our sister company Jordan Reflectors Ltd. He has worked in the lighting industry for over 20 years. Martin manages our design team and project leads all new lighting products.
Martin’s technical expertise is considerable – he is a member of several industry committees, including the DALI Technical Working Group, BSI EL/001/1 Emergency Lighting Standards Committee, LIA Technical Board and LED Applications Committee.
Martin is also vice-chairman of the ICEL Emergency Lighting Technical Committee.
Graham comes to ELP with a very impressive track record in the lighting industry – we’re very excited to have him on board!
Predominantly covering the south of England, in his role as Business Development Manager, Graham has responsibility for enhancing the service we provide to our OEM customers and for supporting project-based activities.
Graham started his working life as an apprentice with a major manufacturer, concentrating on Quality Assurance. This attention to detail has served Graham well and he is revered in the lighting industry for his ability to add value to specification-based solutions.
Kent born and bred, Graham is a family man who enjoys cycling and classic car restoration in his spare time.
Trevor has been a member of the Jordan family since 2003 and in the lighting industry since 1992. He has a strong electrical background which includes time spent lecturing in electrical engineering and lighting. Trevor has also spent time as a Technical and Production Manager elsewhere in the lighting industry.
Much of Trevor’s experience has been in a technical capacity which enables him to provide an all round service to his customers in his role as Sales Area Manager. Trevor is very much at home discussing the most in-depth technical requirements with consulting engineers and architects.
Trevor is a member of the Institute of Lighting Engineers (MILP) and the Engineering Council (Eng Tech) and his geographical area of responsibility takes him from Birmingham north and into Scotland.
Alan joined ELP from within the lighting industry. He brings with him a wealth of experience which is of great benefit in his role as Sales Office Supervisor and Key Account handler.
Alan’s experience within the lighting industry has enabled him to develop in-depth product knowledge. This combines with his customer service skills to ensure he always gives the best advice.
In his spare time, Alan is a big fan of National Hunt racing.
Lauren is responsible for key account order processing.
Lauren joins us having gained experience in sales and project administration with an engineering manufacturer and a systems integrator. Lauren’s previous roles have covered a wide range of disciplines from commercial and project management functions to compiling documentation and working on health and safety procedures. Lauren’s ability to turn her hand to technical and her attention to detail are much in demand at ELP.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys baking and cycling.
Chris works in our sales office, looking after customers old and new. He came to us from another lighting organisation so has plenty of experience in the lighting industry.
Chris thoroughly enjoys the direct interaction with clients and the fulfilling nature of his role.
Hailing from Dorset, Chris studied music technology and loves gaming in his spare time.
Alrie is an Internal Sales Advisor with responsibility for handling a wide range of customer enquiries.
Alrie loves the variety and challenges of her work – no two days are the same!
Born and bred in South Africa, Alrie studied psychology, enjoys the outdoors and is a big rugby fan.
John is a Senior Technician with responsibility for troubleshooting technical issues and assisting production.
John comes to us with a long and varied career in electrical and electronic R&D.
Rebecca is our Accounts Assistant and she has responsibility for invoicing and chasing payments. She is Level 2 AAT qualified and is currently studying for Level 3.
Rebecca is a prodigious musician, having a degree in music from Sussex University in Brighton. Rebecca is currently playing with the Horsham Symphony Orchestra. Prior to this, Rebecca was in the National Youth Chamber Orchestra and the East Sussex Youth Orchestra. Rebecca plays classical and baroque music but also listens to jazz and modern music.
